Terms of Use

1. Purpose

These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the MedQara platform, an automated regulatory monitoring service for medical devices and IVDs.

Using the service implies full and complete acceptance of these Terms.

2. Description of the service

MedQara offers:

• Automated aggregation of medical device regulatory alerts from 34 official sources
• Analysis and classification of these alerts by artificial intelligence
• A personal dashboard to track compliance
• Email sending (critical alerts, weekly digest, event reminders)
• Tracking of relevant professional QA/RA events

3. Account creation

The user undertakes to provide accurate information when creating an account. Any manifestly false information may result in account suspension.

The account is strictly personal. Sharing credentials between several users is prohibited.

4. Pricing plans

Free plan (free, no time limit)

Creating an account is free and requires no credit card. The Free plan is permanently free, with no time limit. It gives access to:

• 3 most recent alerts accessible per week
• Essential French sources: ANSM + Légifrance + HAS
• 48-hour delay compared with paid plans
• Automatic dashboard filtering on the declared scope not included
• No export or monitoring evidence, no email alerts or digest

Paid plans may be tried for 30 days. A payment method is required when the trial starts; no amount is charged during the trial. At the end of the 30 days, the subscription starts automatically unless cancelled beforehand. The trial is granted once per account.

If the user cancels, the account continues on the Free plan, without charge or commitment.

Paid plans

• Independent - €590/year (or €59/month): unlimited real-time alerts, all 34 sources, custom scope, QARA AI Assistant, exportable monitoring evidence (PDF + Excel), 1 user.
• Company - €1,990/year (or €199/month): everything in Independent + unlimited users within the entity, impact and gap analysis, requests to add a source, standard or market, reports with the company logo, a 1-hour setup session, priority support.
• Consultancy - €3,900/year: everything in Company + up to 10 client scopes, co-branded reports, recurring commission on referred clients.
• Group - custom quote: everything in Consultancy + multi-entity, SSO, tailored data processing agreement, contractual SLA, centralized billing.

Amounts are net of tax: VAT not applicable, art. 293 B of the French tax code. Billing is annual by default; the monthly option is available on the Independent and Company plans. Consultancy and Group plans are subscribed by quote and invoiced by bank transfer.

5. Limitation of liability - Important notice

MedQara is a monitoring support tool. It does not replace qualified QA/RA expertise or direct reading of official texts.

• AI summaries and classifications are provided for guidance and may contain errors or inaccuracies
• The user must always consult the referenced official source before any regulatory decision
• MedQara cannot be held liable for the consequences of a decision made on the basis of service information
• We do not guarantee the completeness or uninterrupted availability of the service

6. Acceptable use

The user undertakes not to:

• Use the service for unlawful purposes
• Attempt to compromise the security of the service (intrusion, mass scraping, denial of service)
• Resell or redistribute the content without authorization
• Automate access beyond reasonable human use

Any violation may result in the suspension or termination of the account, without notice or refund.

7. Intellectual property

The source code, design, AI analyses produced and all original content are the exclusive property of MedQara.

Aggregated regulatory content remains the property of the issuing authorities (ANSM, EMA, FDA, etc.). Links to official sources are systematically provided.

8. Termination

The user may terminate their account at any time from Settings or by email to contact@veillemedqara.fr.

For paid plans (Independent, Company, Consultancy, Group), termination takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No pro rata refund is made except in the event of a failure attributable to the service.

9. Changes to the Terms

We may amend these Terms. In the event of a substantial change, users are notified by email at least 30 days before it takes effect.

10. Applicable law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by French law. Any dispute will be brought before the competent French courts.
